Mama, te entiendo was built for mothers navigating the emotional and psychological weight that can follow childbirth. The product blended a blog-style content layer with structured care workflows so users could read helpful guidance, complete therapist-assigned tasks, and stay connected through real-time support.

The Product Problem

Postpartum mental health is not a one-session problem. Mothers may need reassurance, structured exercises, and a way to express what they are feeling over time. A static blog alone would not create enough support, and a pure chat app would miss the consistency that guided therapeutic work requires.

The product had to bridge education and care delivery. It needed to feel warm and approachable for users while still giving therapists and administrators enough control to guide participation, monitor responses, and intervene when necessary.

The content layer established trust before users engaged more deeply with tasks or therapist conversations.

How The Experience Was Structured

The app centered on a content layer that gave mothers accessible psychological guidance after birth. That blog-style experience helped establish trust and made the platform useful even before a user engaged more deeply with tasks or therapist conversations.

From there, therapists could define tasks for users to complete inside the app. Those tasks created a repeatable care rhythm: read, reflect, respond, and receive professional feedback. This made the experience more actionable than content alone and more scalable than relying only on synchronous sessions.

Task-based flows gave the care model a repeatable rhythm instead of leaving support at the content level.

Therapist And User Workflows

Real-time chat was essential because the task system needed a responsive human layer behind it. Users could discuss how they were feeling, ask for clarification, and receive feedback on their task responses without leaving the platform. That reduced friction and helped the therapeutic relationship stay active between formal touchpoints.

On the therapist side, the workflow supported reviewing submissions, responding with context, and using chat as an extension of the care plan instead of a disconnected messaging feature. The product logic tied these pieces together so guidance, exercises, and feedback all reinforced each other.

Real-time chat kept the therapeutic relationship active between formal touchpoints.

Administrative Controls

Because this was a sensitive support environment, administrative tooling mattered as much as the user-facing product. Admins needed the ability to manage accounts, deactivate users when required, and keep visibility over the health of the platform.

That operational layer made the system usable in practice. It meant the app was not just a thoughtful front-end experience for mothers, but a manageable platform for the people responsible for delivering care and maintaining boundaries.

Admin controls gave the clinical team visibility and safety mechanisms to manage the platform responsibly.
